Document Description
CDFW has executed lake and streambed alteration agreement no. 1600-2015-0299-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to the PG&E. The permittee will conduct a culvert replacement and drain pipe installation at the PG&E Monta Vista Substation. A cement lined tributary to Heney Creek that flows through an existing culvert will be replaced with two 18 inch corrugated metal pipes with a concrete collar around the inlet. To dissipate outlet flow, an approximately 12 in thick layer of 6 in riprap will be installed and lined with geofabric. Approximately 6 linear ft of willow and Himalayan blackberry will be trimmed at the outlet. Permittee will also install a drainpipe to discharge surface runoff collected in the lower yard to flow under an existing access road into Heney Creek. The permittee will capture this flow into an approximately 60 ft long 18 in corrugated metal pipe that will be under the access road. Riprap at the pipe outlet will consist of an approximately 12 in thick layer of 6-in min riprap in a 5 ft by 5 ft area lined with geofabric. The riprap will extend to the bottom of the creek or five ft from the outlet, whichever is less. Approximately 30 cy of soil will be temporarily excavated to install the drain pipe. One live oak tree may be trimmed to allow excavation from the access road.
