Document Description
When the Stanton Redevelopment Agency was dissolved there were five series of tax allocation bonds previously issued and outstanding. The Dissolution Act permits successor agencies to refinance outstanding bonds or other obligations of a former redevelopment agency under certain circumstances. If approved, the resoluction would authorize the refunding several series of outstanding bonds issued by the former agency, with an expected total savings of $18.5 million over 24 years.
