Document Description
The latest upgrade of the Morton Lift Station included pumps and controls for three trains consisting of two electric pumps (50-hp, 1800 rpm) in series, to overcome more than 260 feet of head to the discharge point in Day Street. At this time the District will replace the existing tandem pups as they have surpassed their useful life. Likewise, the existing pump starters are unreliable and beyond their useful life. Replacement of the equipment is required in order to maintain reliability of the facility.
