Document Description
Removal of grass, brush and small trees within road rights-of-way adjacent to County roads to allow for safer evacuation nof residents and emergency vehicle response during wildland fire situations and reduction of fuel loading around critical firefighting infrastructure including, but not limited to, fire hydrants. Vegetation removal will be performed by hand crews utilizing chain saws and hand tools. Elderberry shrubs that exceed one inch in diameter located below 3,000 feet in elevation will be retained. Vegetation will be disposed of through chipping or removal to a green waste facility.
