Document Description
The project is limited to clamshell bucket dredging to remove accumulated sediment. A clamshell bucket barge-mounted dredge will approach the site via the Mare Island Strait. Dredging will remove approximately 49,226 cubic yards of material from in front of Dry Dock #2, 3, 4 and materials from Berths 12, 13, and 15. All dredged material will be offloaded via a dredging barge with an 8 cubic yard offloading bucket to Cullinan Ranch or suitable upland site for reuse.
