Document Description
The project proposes to redevelop the site with a Topgolf entertainment complex, 200-room hotel, and 110,000 sf of retail space. The proposed Topgolf facility would include a three story structure reaching up to 54 ft in height that would be enclosed on the north, east and west sides. The south side of the structure would consist of an open face containing roughly 120 hitting bays which would face south toward a 5.2 acre artificial turf outfield enclosed by poles and netting that would reach up to 170 ft in height. The hotel and retail components of the project would be located on the northern and western portions of the site. The project proposes a text amendment to the Alviso Master Plan, and by extension the Envision 2040 General Plan, to accommodate the proposed heights of the hotel and Topgolf facility structures and netting.
