Document Description
Note: Correction of End Date per lead (30 day review period). The primary purpose of the proposed project is to enhance the reliability and efficiency of the secondary treatment process aeration system. There are several issues with the existing aeration system including leaking air header piping, obsolete and inefficient blowers, lack of properly sized redundant equipment, and electrical gear that has exceeded its useful design life. The secondary treatment process is one of the most critical processes in the plant and any prolonged disruption to the aeration system could severely impact the District's ability to meet its discharge requirements.
