Document Description
The proposed Project would include: an approx. 25 to 30 acre Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) (up to three stories), "active adult" (i.e. 55 years and older) housing (one to two stories) ranging from context-appropriate multi-family dwellings (e.g. courtyard housing) to large-lot homes, small scale and/or neighborhood commercial/retail uses, recreational and open space areas, and associated circulation, drainage and stormwater management, and utility improvements. Potential General Plan Amendments or Zoning Amendments that would be identified in the Specific Plan and evaluated in the EIR are anticipated to include provisions for three-story development, identification of a special district zone to accommodate the proposed CCRC, and an amendment to the Regulating Plan to address transect zone (T-zone) consistency.
