Document Description
Caltrans proposes to re-align approximately 0.6 mile of SR 190 from post miles 69.2 to 69.8 to the East of the current alignment. The current six curves will be reduced to three. This re-alignment will cover approximately 6 acres of ground disturbance and improve the horizontal and vertical curves to meet a min design speed of 55 mph, increase the stopping sight distance to 600 ft, and construct paved shoulders throughout the project area. Additionally, the project will flatten or stabilize side slopes and create a catchment adjacent to the roadway, thus reducing the potential for rock fall.
