Present Land Use
Bridge locations cross either Santiago Creek or the Santa Ana River within urbanized portions of the City of Orange. Since the proposed improvements involve maintenance and repair work in existing bridges, there are no buildings or land uses within work area. Each of the bridge locations is paved and covered with impervious surfaces. The Santa Ana River Bicycle Path runs along the Santa Ana River. Paved roads provide access to the bridge locations. The bridge locations do not have any City zoning or GPD.
Document Description
The proposed improvements will repair the bridges, decks, side rails, sidewalks, and bridge girders; and clean and seal the deck for the bridges. The work area for the proposed bridge improvements are the bridges themselves. Grading activities will not be required; areas surrounding the bridge locations will not be disturbed.
