Sewer in McCall Ave ROW-two lane rural collector road; staging areas-designated Ag; Z: AE20, Exclusive Ag
Document Description
The project would repair and abandon sewer pipelines owned by the City of Selma (City) and operated and maintained by the District, located parallel to McCall Avenue. A portion of these two pipelines are located within City limits and the majority of these pipelines are located south of the City in unincorporated Fresno County. The project involves rehabilitating approx. 3.4-miles (approx. 17,800 linear feet) of 24 inch diameter sewer pipeline on the west side of the road via sliplining - a trenchless construction method which involves inserting a new pipe into the existing pipe. In addition, the project would involve abandoning approx. the same length of 18-inch diameter pipeline on the east side of the road. The rehabilitation/abandonment limits are bound by Hwy 99 to the north in the City of Selma and Clarkson Avenue to the south in unincorporated Fresno County. Temporary construction staging would occur on disturbed District-owned lands outside the McCall Avenue right of way. The surrounding lands to the east and west of the project are developed with rural residences and agricultural lands.
