The SGVWC-EI Monte proposes to replace an existing well which has an irreparable damaged casing, and expand the existing 0.74-acre Plant No. 1 facility by adding 0.32-acres from the two parcels to the west. The two parcels are owned by SGVWC-EI Monte and the existing residential structures will be demolished to accommodate the construction of the proposed improvements, including two concrete driveways, concrete paving, and the existing 5-foot 4-inch block wall separating Plant No. 1 from the western parcels. The existing well _was previously destroyed. The mature trees,
landscaping, and existing walls on the two parcels fronting Madera Avenue will be preserved in place. The existing reservoir will be replaced with a 0.45 million-gallon (MG) capacity replacement water storage reservoir (55- foot diameter x
25-feet height). A new 1.2 MG capacity reservoir will be constructed (90-foot diameter x 25-feet height). The Project includes construction of four (4) concrete block well buildings for new and existing wells (each 25-feet length x 11-feet width)1 construction of~ 5-foot high landscape berm, perimeter fences, and walls, grading and drainage improvements, and installation of landscaping and irrigation. Roadways will be repaired following installation of the new facilities and connections including construction of a 5 ft. wide sidewalk.
