Document Description
Caltrans proposes to install a system upgrade to the Westley Safety Roadside Rest Area water source on Interstate 5 at post mile 27.1 in Stanislaus County. All work will be within Caltrans' right of way. No new right of way will be acquired. The scope of work will include the installation of a water chlorination system and trenching to reach existing water lines. The purpose of the project is to meet the requirements of water quality set forth by the State Regional Water Quality Control Board. The need for this project is to prevent and mitigate the future impairment of property and essential public services.
