Maternal Effects in Lupinus Nipomensis Project
NOE - Notice of Exemption
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is issuing a permit to the UC Santa Barbara D' Antonia Lab pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 2081(a) for a project to study if Lupinus nipomensis demonstrates a maternal effect by testing how drought exposure of parental plants impacts the drought tolerance of seedlings.
The project consists of basic data collection, research, experimental, management, and resource evaluation activities which do not result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource. The project will be conducted in a greenhouse setting and will not result in any impacts to existing populations of CESA-listed plant species.
