Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board), as the responsible agency, will be issuing a water supply permit. The City of Glendale proposed project to construct a new Weak Base Anion Exchange (WBA) treatment facdility adjacent to the existing Glendale Water Treatment Plant to remove hexavalent chromium from groundwater extracted from the Well GN-3 at a flow rate of 600 gpm. The existing WBA facility at the Well GS-3 site will be removed; the existing resin vessels will be relocated and reused at the new WBA facility.
