The proposed research and development project will demonstrate a novel amphiphilic, anti-adhesive membrane technology that could improve energy efficiency and increase water yield during memebrane treatment of surface waer, backwash water, and synthetic reclaimed water, and evaluate performance of the amphipilic technology during field testing at a regional wastewater treatment facility located int eh Central Valley.
