Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) is the responsible agency. The SWRCB's Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SDWSRF) Program is providing funds for the project. The City of Weed proposes to conduct planning studies, information collection, draft environmental documentation, and draft preliminary draft plans and specification in anticipation of a future construction project establishing an additional water source. This planning project will include drilling a pilot hole.

The project has been determined to meet the requirements of the Ctegorical Exemption selected above, and does not include any of the Exceptions pursuant to California Code of regulations, Title 14, Division 6, Chapter 3, Article 19, Section 15300.2. Pursuant to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Code, Section 711.1(d)(1), the CDFW environmental review filing fees do not apply.
