Document Description
Issue a Special Event Permit to Quiet Lightning to co-sponsor a one-day poetry reading performance event with California Department of Parks and Recreation at the Mountain Theater and limited parking lots in Mount Tamalpais State Park to celebrate the connection between wilderness experience and the inspiration parks provide to all members of the public. The first event is scheduled for October 9, 2016 and will be limited to 1,000 attendees. Future dates for one (1) Poetry in the Prks event per year, for up to the next five (5) years will be scheduled on a year by year basis. Parking areas in the adjacent Marin Municipal Water District will be utilized for the event . No natual or cultural resources will be impacted by this project.
