Up to 10,000 acre-feet of AVEK's approved SWP water supplies will be delivered to Santa Barbara. In exchange, Santa Barbara will return to AVEK, based on an unbalanced exchange of 2:1, up to 5,000 acre-feet of Santa Barbara's future approved SWP water supplies by December 31, 2026.
