Document Description
The purpose of the Bolsa Chica native plant growing space project is to produce native plants to be used for restoration on site. The growing space will consist of shaded tables to hold plant pots and a portable watering tank. The entire 480ft system is designed to be temporary so that it can be moved when it is no longer needed. The area for the proposed growing space consists of non-native grasses. No native flora or fauna will be impacted by this project. This project will enable restoration volunteers to cost-effectively grow native grass and coastal sage scrub species within the same micro climate where the plants will be transplanted to restore native habitat.
