Document Description
Caltrans proposed to replace and repair steel girders on the State Route 26/99 Separation in San Joaquin County. All work will be within Caltrans' right of way. No new right of way will be acquired. The scope of work will include replacing Girder 1 in Span 1 including its bearing and grout pads, and repairing Girder 2 in Span 1 by heat straightening and replacing its bent vertical stiffeners. The work will also include restoring the cracked stiffener to girder welds, replacing the first diaphragm between Girder 1 and Girder 2, removal and replacement of part of the concrete deck, removal and re-attachment of the bridge-mounted sign with platform, and structural painting.
