Document Description
The University of California proposes to purchase renewable natural gas from an expansion of a facility operated by a third-party in the Town of New Denmark, Wisconsin. Existing facilities comprise an anaerobic digester treated wastewater storage tank, related pumping equipment and an electric generator for the production of "green" electricity. The expanded facility will add an additional digester, a feedstock mixing tank, associated pumping and waste handling equipment, and biogas upgrading equipment. The renewable natural gas facili8ty process utilizes anaerobic digesters for the production of raw biogas that is further processed for upgrading to pipeline quality renewable natural gas.
