Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to overlay 0.10 foot of Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt (RHMA) from edge of pavement to edge of pavement on State Route (SR) 4 from 0.7 mile west of Six Mile Road to Davis Ranch Road and on SR 49 from Tuolumne County line to 0.1 mile east of Sonora Street in Calaveras County. All work will be within Caltrans' right of way. No new right of way will be acquired. The scope of work will include cold planning of the highway surface, shoulder backing at the edge of pavement, removal of striping, adjustment of existing utilities to grade, and replacement of AC Dike and PCC Curb when needed.
