SMUD owns a parcel of land located at 38th and J Streets within the City of Sacramento and intends to dispose of the property by means of sale to the public. SMUD Real Estate has contacted adjacent property owners to determine interest in purchasing the property. The site was originally used as a neighborhood substation. The substation has since been demolished and all impacted soils removed and remediated. The site is currently vacant with no structures. A fence surrounds the previous substation footprint. SMUD is seeking to dispose of the property within the September to October 2016 timeframe.
