The project involves rehabilitation of approximately 6,100 feet of 30 inch diameter, non-reinforced concrete pipe and 882 feet of 39 and 42- inch diameter, vitrified clay pipe by lining with CIPP liners. In addition, approximately 1,100 feet of 30-inch diameter sewer between MH 307 and 612 would be taken out of service, after construction of approximately 50 feet of 8-inch sewer and two manholes to relocate an 8-inch city of Long Beach Sewer.
The project consists of repair of an existing public facility with no expansion of use. The project also includes reconstruction and extension of existing public facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced. Last, the project includes construction of a sewer extension which is less than one mile long all within public right-of-way.
