Document Description
The purpose of this Agreement is to conduct a pilot scale demonstration of Rheem's H2ACTM (H2AC) Waste Heat Recovery Rooftop Unit at an existing industrial chemical processing site to validate natural gas savings. The new RTU will replace an existing unit.

Reasons for Exemption
The activities funded by the agreement will not cause a direct physical change in the environment or a reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment because the proposed project encompasses equipment replacement at an existing and fully developed industrial site within a highly urban landscape in Southern California. The unit will replace an existing roof top unit and will also include installation of a water storage tank and piping. The proposed project does not involve sensitive lands, agricultural or historical resources, nor will it adversely affect noise, traffic, or wastewater management.
