Document Description
The UC Davis Center for Aquatic Biology and Aquaculture currently discharges wastewater from their fish recirculation system through Jameson Pond, which ultimately discharges to Putah Creek. UC Davis is proposing to dam the current Jameson Pond outfall to Putah Creek and dig a new trench of approximately 500 feet that will discharge to the former North Fork of Putah Creek.

Reasons for Exemption
In conformance with Section 15304; Minor alterations to land; the project consist of minor trenching and rerouting of water discharge. The use is consistent with the design and prior uses of the facility. Inclusion of the North Fork Basin for water discharge compliments the Putah Creek Reserve Management Plan for the North Fork Basin and will provide additional habitat diversity within the reserve. In addition, consistent with section 15300.2, no exceptions to the exemption would apply.
