Document Description
This project would install a concrete memorial bench at Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook. The bench would be located south west of the Outlook a short distance from the walking trail. To comply with ADA standards, there will be a 30" by 48" deep clear ground space at the end of the bench to allow a person using a wheelchair to sit shoulder to shoulder with a companion seated on the bench. The clear space will be level and be comprised of a firm and stable surface, and will adjoin an accessible route of travel.
