Document Description
This project is the design and installation of 46 wayfinding and interpretation signs. Over the years the city of Santa Barbara has imposed its grid of streets through the Presidio compound making it difficult for visitors to find buildings and features and to understand the original layout. The perimeter walls and central parade grounds are currently in 4 separate city blocks. These signs will solve that problem while the sizes, colors, and designs are sensitive to the historic setting and are minimally intrusive. The signs are compliant with State accessibility and branding standards.
