El Dorado Duck Pond Restoration Project
NOE - Notice of Exemption
Department of Fish and Wildlife is proposing to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2015-0268-R5. The applicant proposes to dewater the El Dorado Duck Pond, remove approximately 7000 cubic yards of built up bottom sediments, and grade/trench for pipeline work. Other construction activities include paving and concrete restoration to relocate the eroded concrete shoreline away from the pond. The project also includes landscaping, irrigation, and routine maintenance of native vegetation as work in upland areas to create a detention feature for water quality treatment.
Class 1 consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, licensing, leasing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency's determination.
