The project falls within Class 1 (h) Categorical Exemption as it consists of the maintenance of the riparian corridor adjacent to the Western Boundary of the Sacramento River between the intersections of W Lake Dr. and River Crest Dr. and Pioneer Memorial Bridge. No direct alteration to the levee bank will occur and if activities occur within the nesting season a nesting bird survey will be conducted.
