Document Description
The proposed ALUCP will replace the plan adopted by the Truckee Tahoe Airport Land Use Commission in 2010 for the Truckee Tahoe Airport, which is owned and operated by the Truckee Tahoe Airport, which is owned and operated by the Truckee Tahoe Airport District. The preparation or amendment of an ALUCP for public use airports is required by the CA State Aeronautics Act. The proposed Airport Influence Area is defined as the area in which current or future airport related noise, overflight, safety, or airspace protection factors may significantly affect land uses or necessitate restrictions on those uses. The proposed ALUCP is regulatory in nature and neither the project - the adoption of the ALUCP - nor its subsequent implementation by local agencies would directly lead to any new development or physical change to the environment.
