- Document Description
- Note: Revised CFDA circulated an NOP in September 2016 for its Medical Cannabis Cultivation Program. As a result of new legislation, CDFA has expanded the MCCP to become CalCannabis Cultivation Licensing, which includes commercial cultivation of non-medical cannabis. The regulatory licensing program would ensure cannabis cultivation operations are performed in a manner that protects the environment, cultivation workers, and the general public from the individual and cumulative effects of these operations, and fully complies with all applicable laws. CalCannabis would also establish a track and trace program to ensure the movement of cannabis items are tracked throughout the product chain. The regulatory licensing program would apply to all commercial cannabis cultivation statewide.
