Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0252-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Heirloom Valley, LLC, as represented by Wil Crummer. The project is the cultivation of cannabis and associated activities on approximately 63.68 acres within two parcels that total 177.17 acres. The project includes approximately 47.57 acres of cannabis canopy within temporary hoop structures, a security shed, existing access roads, harvest storage, composting, a water storage reservoir, water storage tanks, a parking area, and other associated infrastructure. The cannabis canopy portion of the cultivation project will be set back a minimum of 125 feet from the Santa Ynez River, and a minimum of 100 feet from Shale Creek. The water source for the project is two existing wells, consisting of one existing on-site well located at latitude 34.60592, longitude -120.28874 and one existing well located on an adjacent land parcel at latitude 34.607509, longitude -120.29938. Both wells pump water from alluvial material and are located adjacent to the Santa Ynez River. The project will divert a maximum of 85 acre-feet of water annually for irrigation and other cultivation-related uses.
