Document Description
The project consists of roadway improvements that will widen Douglas Road to a City standard four-lane arterial roadway between Rancho Cordova Parkway and Americanos Blvd. Construction would include placement of pavement, sidewalk, curb, gutter, median, pedestrian bike/path on south side, landscape, irrigation, striping, signage, water, sewer, drainage, fire protection, street lighting, and signal lighting improvements. The city is also considering an option to install a new driveway connection from Douglas Road to Security Park that would align with Borderlands Dr on the south side of Douglas Rd. The existing driveway into Security Park would be removed.
