Note: Extended Review CMD has prepared a DEIR for the proposed CHC project. The CHC would be developed on a vacant, approx 30-acre undeveloped lot owned by CMD at the southwest intersection of Bear Hollow Dr and Airpark Dr in the city of Rancho Cordova, Sacramento County. Access to the site is provided by Bear Hollow Dr between Airpark Dr and North Mather Blvd. The CHC would provide a new multi-facility campus for 500-900 employees. The CHC would be approx 285,700 sf including office spaces, training rooms/classrooms, a dining hall, a headquarters building, a readiness center, a visitor center, an emergency operations center/network operations security center, a security post, an access control point and badging facility, a warehouse, employee cafeteria, and employee fitness center and locker rooms. Additionally, the CHC will include an enclosed trash containment area, central utility services, an outdoor amphitheater, and associated parking. Site improvements would include access roadways, pedestrian sidewalks, and controlled perimeter security fencing and/or barriers.
