Document Description
The proposed project replaces the existing bridge which crosses Coon Creek at Dowd Road. The current bridge has been rated functionally obsolete, is prone to flooding, and provides insufficient width for two-lanes of traffic (it is a one-lane bridge). The new bridge is planned to be a 2-span cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete slab bridge measuring 150 ft long and 32 ft wide between the bridge barriers. The bridge would carry two 12-ft travel lanes and two 4-ft wide shoulders with a modified Caltrans Type ST-10 bridge rail.
