Document Description
WJUSD plans to construct and operate an elementary school to serve students in the Spring Lake Specific Plan area, west of CA-113 and south of East Gibson Road. The site is proposed to be developed with 16 classrooms, a multipurpose building, a library, and administrative buildings to serve up to 400 students in grades K-6. The project will include 18 restrooms. Total building square footage is estimated at 30,000. The school design includes a field and several hard top courts to deliver a physical education program; however, no field lighting is proposed. Buildings would be oriented on the south side of the site with fields on the north, as shown in appendix B. The primary access to the site for kindergarten drop-off will be on Meikle Avenue. The drop-off location for grades 1st-6th will be along Banks Dr.
