Document Description
The CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0291-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Zeneca Inc. as represented by Charles Elmendorf.
Project is associated with the remediation of a site referred to as the Zeneca Site that contains toxic chemicals in the soil that range from arsenic to organochloride pesticides. Habitat Area 2 is a smaller section of the larger remediation site; Habitat Area 2 consists of areas identified as the Upper Lagoon, Lower Lagoon, Drainage Ditch, Construction Access Area and Sub-Area. The Habitat Area 2 Remediation project will remove contaminated soils and backfill with clean soil to an area approx. 6.86 acres in total and remove vegetation from an area approx. 0.50 acres where no remediation actions will occur.
