Document Description
The City of Weed adopted a MND for the Sewer Replacement Project on Oct. 13, 2016. Following adoption of the MND, the City determined that revisions to the project were required, and an addendum to the previously adopted MND was prepared. The Addendum addresses a revised alignment for the North Weed Site that was determined to be required to avoid the potential for encountering contaminated groundwater and/or soils. The Addendum also addresses collection system improvements in the downtown area on North Weed and South Weed Blvd that are required to eliminate sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs). The subject properties are not included on any list of hazardous waste facilities/sites pursuant to Section 65962.5 of the CA Gov't Code.
