Size as amended in Notice of Determination Filed Jan. 14, 2016/Current Replacement Size:
Kennedy Tank - 2 tanks, 100,000 Gallon and 900,000 Gallon/1,000,000 Gallon;
Jim Tank - 100,000 Gallon/100,000 Gallon;
Lar Tank - 30,000 Gallon/30,000 Gallon;
Bud Tank 50,000 Gallon/50,000 Gallon;
Jeff Tank - 30,000 Gallon/50,000 Gallon;
Jerry Tank - 100,000 Gallon/100,000 Gallon.
The tank size revisions are proposed to increase the water capacity available for fire protection services within the RID service area, and to reduce costs. The tank size revisions will be accommodated within the same areas of disturbance analyzed with the original project. The Jeff Tank will increase slightly in diameter and will not increase in height compared to the previously adopted tank size. The existing 1M gallon Kennedy Tank will be replaced with a same-size tank rather than with two smaller tanks, as originally planned.
