Document Description
In March 2017, the Planning Commission adopted a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the renewal of permits for an existing surface mining and processing operation, including an asphalt batch plant, andthe addition of a new concrete batch plant. The proposed rezoning of the property from CH to MH-Q better reflects the use of the property as Mercer Fraser Company's gravel yard and concrete batch plant operations existing and implements the 2017 General Plan land use designatrion of industrial, Resource Related (IR). The ZR includes adoption of a Qualified overlay zoning that restricts the allowable heavy industrial uses and imposes performance standards to ensure compatibility of with the adjacent land uses.
