Document Description
The proposed project entails construction and operation of a one story 30,000 sf solid waste transfer station building and application for a 1,000 ton per day (TPD) Solid Waste Facility Permit on approx. 1.3 acres. The project site is currently used for parking refuse collection vehicles, compressed natural gas refueling of those vehicles, vehicle maintenance, offices, and processing up to 165 TPD of solid waste. The transfer station building will include food waste processing equipment, a covered, at-grade, load-out area, push-walls, a tipping area. A 45-foot long automated truck scale, offices, a break room, restrooms, and parking are also proposed.
