Document Description
The proposed project involves adaptive reuse of the one-story (with mezzanine) former French Market at 7985 Santa Monica Blvd and removal of the adjacent parking lot to construct a commercial building with approx 83,455 sf of space above ground, and 88,050 sf of space below ground (including parking). The new building component of the proposed project would consist of 54,645 sf of office space, 1,345 sf of retail, 13,114 sf of restaurant/cafe uses, and a 2,746 sf subterranean bar. The adaptive reuse component of the proposed project, which involves retention, rehabilitation, and reuse of a portion of the former French Market building, would consist of a restaurant. The proposed project would also maintain the 4,400 sf existing nightclub (Dellah) on the project site.
