Document Description
The project proposes to upgrade the beach entry at the western terminus of Mission Ave by remodeling the historic bathroom facility and relocating the adjacent City police offices to this building. No expansion of the 1,313 sf building is proposed. New public restrooms would be provided in a new one story City Services building that would also include a beach maintenance office, storage space, and garages for City vehicles. The square-footage of the new building would be approximately 3,000 sf. An adjacent 330 sf structure would house the relocated sewer lift station and include a roofed trash enclosure. This building would reach a max height of 20.5 ft; zoning standards establish a 45-ft height max.
