Document Description
The Guidance charter school has been proposed for a 30 acre project area located south of Ave R and west of 40th St East in the City of Palmdale. The Guidance Charter School is permitted in Z R-1, provided that a CUP is obtained pursuant to the provisions of Chp 2, Art 22 of the Palmdale Municipal Code. The Guidance Charter School will serve middle school and high school students and will include a library, gym, multi-purpose room, administration building, locker rooms, basketball/volleyball courts, classrooms, installation of paved parking areas, track, soccer and football facility, baseball field, and access roads and utilities (natural gas, water sewer, electric, telephones). The middle school will serve 533 students and the high school will serve 605 students for a total of 1,138 students.
