Document Description
The project involves five pre-defined reaches of Bouquet Canyon Creek where restoration activities would occur (from downstream to upstream, labeled as sites 1 through 5), and a sixth site in the abandoned Zuni Campground, where a fish preserve would be constructed. The project sites are located within an unincorporated area of northern LA County and within the southern part of the Santa Clara portion of the US Forest Services Santa Clara/Mojave Rivers Rangers District of the Angeles National Forest. The primary purpose of this project is to restore in stream and riparian habitat by reestablishing creek flows along sections of Bouquet Canyon Creek that currently are dry.
