Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project. The Project includes the construction of a 10.8 mile of 48” force main and 36” brine/centrate pipeline to convey 32 million gallons per day (MGD) of wastewater to the North City Water Reclamation Plant.

The Project is located throughout San Diego County. Majority of the proposed Project occurs within developed land and/or along existing paved streets. A new Pure Water Facility and three pump stations would be located within the City of San Diego. Pipelines would traverse a number of local jurisdictions, including the City of San Diego; the City of Santee; the community of Lakeside and other areas in unincorporated San Diego County; and federal lands within Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. Specifically, the Miramar Reservoir Alternative is within the Poway, La Jolla, and Del Mar U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute quadrangle maps.
