Document Description
DWR proposes to purchase lands in the Lower Elkhorn Basin and Sacramento Bypass areas in order to prevent encroachment of development into flood plains and support continued use of lands for agriculture. Purchase of the lands is expected to occur in 2016 and includes approximately 1,600 acres. Purchased lands will be placed under a flood easement.
