Document Description
Hathaway, LLC ("Hathaway") extracts oil pursuant to its oil and gas leases in the Jasmin Oil Field, generally located within the East of the District and Hathaway's oil operations produce water that, with treatment, is suitable for agricultural irrigation. Hathaway's predecessor in interest and Jasmin Ranchos Mutual Water Company ("Jasmin") entered into a Water Use Agreement dated April 14, 1978, and amended May 24, 2010, which provided for furnishing Jasmin with surplus produced water from its oil wells, which mutual water company is located primarily within the District. Jasmin is a California mutual water company, organized to develop, produce, supply and manage irrigation water for 435 acres of orange groves in the geographical area known as Jasmin Ranchos, and comprised of portions of Section 15 and 22, Township 25 South, Range 27 East, MDB&M, Kern County, California.
